Yesterday I was able to state clearly to myself: what we are doing here is rewriting the book and we are on Chapter 1. Clarity is good but I do not want chronology to become a burden. I am not in it for speed, we did speed last time and we ended up with this current draft, which needs to be rewritten. It might be speedier in the end to not worry about speed, that is my current hypothesis. Currently a writing session consists of me going in to look around and then deciding how to spend it once I get there. Plans are fun to make, but the map is not the territory.
